Evaluation methods

The evaluation of the utility value of dairy and meat-dairy breed cattle against milking features in Poland is carried out using Method A. Various time and organisational variants are available for breeders to choose from:

  • A4, A6, A8 – for all types of barns and milking systems, excluding robots
  • AT4, AT6 – only for barns with double milking a day
  • AR4, AR6, AR8 – only for barns equipped with milking robots
  • AZ4, AZ6, AZ8 – only for barns equipped with computerised milking parlours with calibrated milk meters
