Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Dairy Farmers (PFHBiPM) is the only legal representative of dairy cattle breeders in Poland

Timetable

On 12 March 1995, PFHBiPM was established as a result of the grass-roots movement of cattle breeders and milk producers.
On 1 July 2004, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development authorises PFHBiPM herd books for dairy cattle.
On 1 July 2006, the Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Dairy Farmers in Warsaw undertook the tasks related to the evaluation of the useful value of cattle.
On 1 July 2007, the Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Dairy Farmers in Warsaw undertook the tasks related to the evaluation of the type and body build of primiparas and dairy cattle.
On 1 July 2008, a group of nutritional consultants was established.
On 10 December 2010, the ICAR certificate was received.
On 1 April 2011, the online Hodowca (breeder) application was implemented, which was a progenitor of the Stado On-Line herd management application.
On 1 July 2012, the introduction of advisory services in the selection of parental couples.
On April 1, 2013, we are the first in the world to determine subclinical ketosis.
1 March 2015, the Cattle Genetics Laboratory was launched.
1 April 2016, establishment of the Genetic Centre in Poznań.
December 2019, implementation of the Economic Index.

Our structures have over 11 000 members associated in 21 regional and breeds’ unions. These are individual breeders, state farms, state-owned and private companies, cooperative and leased farms.
